Oh, it's ok for me as I am strong and coped well with it.

  But, to me, it's sad that even in 2015, kids aren't graded on
  passion. I consider that just about the BIGGEST FLAW in
  Education. Period.

  I read the book Summerhill by J.S. Neill when I was 14 years
  old; same time I read Unschooling and a few other books on
  experimental Education.

  8th grader, about to go into high school.

  I wanted Summerhill _so badly_. I tried to make it happen for
  myself by customizing my experience as best I could. Thankfully,
  I was able to go to a private school instead of public thanks to
  a scholarship (writing contest), and being a very small school,
  I got a bit of it.

  Had I gone to the large local public school, I wouldn't have
  gotten any of it. I'm grateful.
