When Facebook first came out (I'm one of those "first kid on the
block" kind of ppl) - I re-established my old college email to
get on it. I made a couple of posts, found the color scheme
boring. Used it to spam marketing stuff I was doing at the time.
Didn't think much of it.
Then it opened up to the public. Ok, that was cool. I started
making friends and doing what i do on social networks.
Then... the migration from Myspace to Facebook.... AND worse...
the migration from AOL to Facebook.
It was the migration from AOL to Facebok that was most brutal.
Aunts, Uncles, Cousins... all used to easy-to-use
social-networking AOL style were right at home with Facebook..
and it was doom tongue emoticon
