Oh and to clarity: there were two ships. A pirate ship, which
was blown to pieces during a massive battle with Black Dog who
turned out to be his Father that he had to kill for the sake of
an uneasy peace between the two kingdoms, and a spaceship.
The spaceship was a little weird though. It was powered by
animals. I'm trying to remember as a lot of this was 2-3 years
ago, but I remember there was cows who were hooked up to
machines during the entire trip. They were willing participants
for the most part, but thanks to brain surgery they didn't have
much choice in their compliance. They also allowed themselves to
be slaughtered for the sake of the Cat Empire in order to make
cat food, but thankfully most cat food was generated by recycled
poop of the cows, who were fed by an automated wheat-making
facility which grew thanks to radiation from the ship's engines
acting as artificial sun. The radiation came from compressed
animal poop as well.
The sheep were used as the forcefield for the ship, as sheep fur
is a good protection against hyperspace travel, and voluntarily
allowed themselves to be sheered. One young sheep didn't,
however and caused a temporary mutiny and freedom of the sheep
but he was surprised that most of them wanted to stay and be
useful, rather than start off on their own planet.
Nobody cared about the cows though as long as they kept doing
what they do. Such is the Universe of Cat.
