Yes and [1]James Chambers Psychics are basically Psychologists
  under a different title with some woo added on top. They deal
  with people all of the time, people who are in a horrible state
  and need to provide comfort.

  Also, the people who come to them often give them information.

  Detectives aren't as stupid as they're made out to be. All
  sources of information must be considered and biases put aside,
  especially in missing person's case.

  So what if the Psychic puts hands to head and goes, "I have a
  vision" or if it's a Psychologist who puts his hands to his head
  and goes, "I remember hearing of a case where someone in a
  similar situation did such-and-such".

  It's no different. Just get rid of the woo and the information
  BEHIND the woo can be equally valid.

  Do you REALLY think Psychics believe what they're doing? Maybe
  some do, but they play the game (psychology) better than most
  and are smarter than the appear.
