I'm noticing how expensive it is to be cheap. I like the butane
  stove, but I remember how long it takes to heat stuff up with
  them. When solar panels are cheap, I'll be happy to do it. *But
  you need a LOT OF MONEY to do that kind of stuff and it takes
  many year to reap the rewards. So yeah, to me, it's satire.

  *Just a pipe dream. People can say "go off the grid" 'til they
  try to do it wthout money to start with. *What happens then?
  *You go back to 1820. I'd probably be ok in 1820, but I'd have
  to pay a chain of Indian tribes to do smoke signals for us to
