besides, I've seen enough people go through nasty evil divorces
  to know what the shadows are capable of, and that's commonplace
  stuff. I prefer the "revelation" style shadows like you do, the
  "I have this piece of information that would destroy you if you
  only knew". I do the same thing, but without the mystique. I
  envy the mystique - I could never master that role. Too "Doc
  Brown" for it. Child custody/visitation battles contain some of
  the worst wickedness possible to mankind. Murder is a vacation
  in comparison. I've been lucky to avoid both.
