When I speak of Religion, I speak of any system that one follows
  that is central to their belief model. To me, the more someone
  holds to the system they believe in as The Truth, or Facts - the
  more it is their religion. So I use religion in the general
  sense, not the specific weird OED sense invented in 1928 for
  certain, possibly in preliminary editions of the OED as well.
