Moral code? Heuristics. Scientific method? Heuristics. Use of
mathematics within the sciences? Heuristics.
If it works, that's what we use. I'm biased because I'm an
American and in America, Pragmatics is somewhat embedded in our
culture as a "good thing". Pragmatic = an American moral good,
generally speaking. I don't know if that is a valid question. I
don't think a thing "is moral" or "is immoral" without a
context. Perhaps it is, but I've found very few laws that are
ultimately Universal. I'm working on one now that might be but I
have work to do on it. [my computer is chugging away on
something regarding metaphors and language in a CMD window...
