I'm a little confused as to why. 1+1=2 is the result of the
  application of mathematical axioms. Is the existence of such
  axioms a deterrent to objectivity?   Law of Excluded middle is
  also a good moral. it is a good morality of certain forms of
  Logic.

  You're applying morality. Heuristics. If I had to dispense of
  rules and standards and was allowed only one to apply to all
  disciplines, it's heuristics. But I am a pragmatist at heart.
