Not all sciences work with numbers.
That's the arrogance of the Physics dept.
If there wasn't a Science to investigate something, then how the
heck can it be studied? Sheesh. There's a Science correlate to
most things. If there isn't, then somebody needs to start
probing.
The recent push of "Hard vs Soft Science" is the kind of
thinking that's led to the ridiculuous bullshit of "the universe
is mathematics" that people call science instead of fiction. if
you're following the basic tenets of Science, then it's a
Science. Mathematics isn't Science, it just plays well with a
FEW of the Sciences.
And yes, sociology is a science. It's a science of stereotyping.
It's closely related to the science of marketing and
advertising. Perfectly valid.
