You are speaking of the IDEALS of Science. The human reality of
  the PRACTICE of Science are a much different tale.

  Publish or perish for example. Is that Science? No. All too
  human though. As it is acting in the name of Science, it becomes
  what is Science, even if we wish it wasn't.
