They're imaginary items though. Think about it:
  a) Paper is 2D and we draw on it. Yes? No. It's 3D. It has an
edge. It has a timeline. There is a time that paper not, then it
is, then it is not again.

  b) Images on the screen. 2D? No. 3D.

  So.. where is 0, 1, 2D?

They're the result of data compression algorithms. The cells in
our brain are limited in what they can process. Lines for
example. Real? No. They're an artifact of our cognitive
  processes.

part of our visual system simplifies things by giving them
outlines. Simplifies distance by making imaginary lines that
produce depth. Our cognitive systems like working with lines.
It's because our brain cells are designed to process in that
  way.

yet those cells are 3D and time. [space doesn't matter as much
  there]

These same 3D cells which have their OWN birth->death timelines,
ALSO produced these systems of mathematics, logic, etc. Used
such things to build machines that ALSO work well with these
  cognitively simplified views of reality.

  They work very well.

Still not reality though. I mean, they might as WELL be reality
because we're only capable of so much as humans. But still,
there's more than what we can cognate.
