I had to educate a grown man about Rule 34.* He was ... a bit
  shocked: Rule of thumb: If it exists either in the 3D world, in
  fiction, or in the imagination of somebody somewhere, there's a
  person who wants to have sex with it. Don't think it's "just
  men". A quick look at tumblr or deviantArt and the percentage
  that are women is equal. Most "Rule 34" artists seem to be
  teenage girls/young women.. and some of them ("shipping") is
  pretty.. um... yeah. interesting.
