  for my words to have much effect. [they don't realize The Cloud
  is just another word for dumb terminal --> server setup - and
  that it'll be chucked out in a few years like all other Forever
  tech... oh well.

  Wait! I'll upload it to Internet Archive. They save EVERYTHING
  tongue emoticon Yeah - its this idea that instead of running
  programs/apps on your phones/computers, you run them online.
  Then all of your data is also stored online. Nothing is stored
  locally really.

  Lots of promises of backups, redundant servers, etc -I mean it's
  one of those "it's a great thing" - 'cause it is... but at the
  same time, companies merge, get taken over, go out of business.
  Then your data and apps are *poof*.
