Maybe that's why we're here, now.
Taking a cue from Hitchiker's Guide; we're here to discover the
question to the answer of Life, the Universe and Everything, the
Earth is a giant computer, etc.

There's always the concept that we're already at the edge of a
black hole and this is a holographic illusion of a Universe
that's nearly passed that we're reliving... but to me, that's
just abstracting reality to an untouchable place - a nice
convenient mathematical fiction, but food for the imagination.
