haha oh that speech. Bill Gates was never a nerd. Bill Gates was
an businessman from a young age. He knew how to wheel and deal,
make connections to people. He knew how to spin a story,
leverage existing code and was bound to become a modern
industrialist.
I give him all the credit he's due and he's due a lot but when
you peel the nerd-story off of him, what you find is "Everybody
will be working for me".
I got to be part of it though. I'm still a part of it. I love
finding new technologies, forcing my computer to do things it's
not supposed to do. I like thinking ahead 10-20-50 years in the
future. I'm constantly annoyed with limitations of the
technology.. .things that *should already be here* but aren't.
So really, I'm always waiting. I know that if *I* have an idea
that I think is new and brilliant, SOMEBODY ELSE is having the
same idea and if I wait long enough while keeping occupied with
whatever tools are available today, _eventually_ I'll see it in
the marketplace and THEN, somebody will make a free version that
I can use. tongue emoticon
