Yes. I mean Science hasn't defined consciousness completely in a
  fashion that's universally accepted even within the various
  Scientific disciplines.

  Psychology has definitions... but Psychology is somewhat of a
  stop-gap in my mind, on the road towards Cognitive Psychology,
  which has a firmer footing than standard Psychology.

  So, I have hope. CogPsych is also willing to explore things like
  Embodied Cognition and has proven a number of its tenets already
  through brain-scans and such, so I'm quite excited to see what
  will be coming over the next few years with better and better
  resolution fMRI equipment and such.
