I couldn't remember why this felt so meaningful last night.* I
woke up this morning and the first thing I did is click on this
link.* I knew of him and found him inspirational but couldn't
remember why. Then I saw why:

theories that's a very very practical one.* It is also the
theory upon which I base a lot of how I believe the human brain
works, how our relationship to the Universe is.. how critical
this lag is. It's not just an annoying feature of systems but a
necessary part as it forms memories, not just in electromagnetic
fields but in human brains as well and in all life forms - and
not just life forms, but all 'features' of the Universe, whether
we consider them life forms or not. How do things keep their
shape? I believe it's hysteresis in spacetime itself.
