I couldn't remember why this felt so meaningful last night.* I
  woke up this morning and the first thing I did is click on this
  link.* I knew of him and found him inspirational but couldn't
  remember why. Then I saw why:

  theories that's a very very practical one.* It is also the
  theory upon which I base a lot of how I believe the human brain
  works, how our relationship to the Universe is.. how critical
  this lag is. It's not just an annoying feature of systems but a
  necessary part as it forms memories, not just in electromagnetic
  fields but in human brains as well and in all life forms - and
  not just life forms, but all 'features' of the Universe, whether
  we consider them life forms or not. How do things keep their
  shape? I believe it's hysteresis in spacetime itself.
