  So if someone says, "Nothing is in control", then that means
  "Nothing" is in control - nothing-as-a-something. I usually
  frame it as "I speak from my own perspective alone because I
  cant speak for all of humanity". I try not to speak "for
  nature", just as I wouldn't consider speaking "for God" as a kid
  when I was religious, but the 'gist' of our ways of seeing
  things aren't too different.
