Indeed. Sometimes I am also authoritarian with myself as well,
as I must be my own harshest critic.
But I restrict my authoritarian voice to myself alone as much as
possible, unless it is a matter of life and limb. Then, watch
out.
[I have bears on the property. They're mostly harmless but
they're intrusive.
When they get too close for comfort, I make myself appear HUGE
and tell GIT! GIT! GIT! with the most Authoritarian voice I can
muster up, deep in my gut.
They RUN. I have gotten as close to 5 feet away. But they need
to GET OFF MY PROPERTY and then need to know I'm boss.
