What present moment? There's always lag - hysteresis. The
present is the creation of our brains comparing "what just
entered our systems" with our expectations of what "was supposed
to happen" and comparing the two, expressing itself as an
emotion, which we then tell a story about and call the present.
It all happens in around 400ms at most, sometimes shorter.
