[1]t netlingo changes constantly. The source of change is
  elementary/middle school boys and girls and then it percolates
  up. Change can also percolate down as well. Change also comes
  from certain corners of the internet but you wouldn't want to
  see raw necessarily.

  I stay away from those sources tongue emoticon tumblr, 4chan are
  sources that percolate their way out, imgur, meme sites, and
  there are others. Also, gaming culture has had a distinctive
  lingo ever since Halo and all first person shooter games in
  group chat use that language. The "dank memes" culture is a
  fascinating one.

  I like lingo. I never master any of it, but I like understanding
  it as much as I can. But don't feel bad - it's ALWAYS changing.
