You've put it better than I did, my friend. I had a prolonged
argument with a friend last night about the subject, He has
everything logically figured out but neglects the sources of the
very premise that he was trying to prove.
After 1,111 words [I copy and paste my 1/2 of interesting
conversations to my website for archival:

where I stuck it] - I finally explained myself fully and told
him that I didn't care about the debate - I just cared if he was
taking it seriously enough to be upset by it as a possibility
for the future.
I worry about people's psychological health more than what their
beliefs are. Beliefs are fine but excessive fervent beliefs can
be a "bad thing" psychologically, imo. [even an excessively
fervent belief in Psychology tongue emoticon ] Swarm
technologies generate fear in people as well but that's because
we're afraid of swarms of bees.
I guess I believe in society, oddly enough. I don't have to rant
about "the dangers of [x]" because I'd be entirely replaceable
if I did. Someone else is more upset than I and will somehow
make sure there are laws and safeguards in place. I pick my
"World Battles" carefully and save my energies to helping
individuals as I come across them. That's where I can make a
real difference.
