They're the functional (in some ways) equivalent to royalty in
the USA. [Figures in the Entertainment Industry form the rest of
the ways - at least the Brits LOVE royal scandal).
They have different goals and ambitions. Their society is
different. It's truly not the same world.
Compromise requires an entirely different set of incentives and
an entirely different language that the ones we're accustomed
to.
