That describes me well:
"You see, I went on this research just the way it led me. That
is the only way I ever heard of true research going. I asked a
question, devised some method of obtaining an answer, and got a
fresh question. Was this possible or that possible?"
Thank you - H.G. Wells voicing through the created character Dr.
Moreau, has captured the family of thought I ascribe to; the
experiential nature of curiosity.
It has its dark side; and one will necessarily place limitations
on one's research; places one will simply not go for various
reasons. Yet, it's understandable when one sees someone else go
there, because they don't have walls in the same places,
although they may some walls in other places.
