  I don't like the stigmatization of people based on faddish
  behavioral "illnesses" created to suit the desires of a society.
  I'm listening to the 2nd talk now - the first one was out of the
  park awesomeness. When used correctly, such labels _can_ help
  kids get themselves out of heaps of trouble though. "He has
  ADHD" - "oh". "Sorry I did [x] I have ADHD". "oh, OK!" So at
  least the kids with the diagnosis make the best of it to
  navigate the ridiculously complicated world of childhood...
  which is more ridiculously complicated than adulthood, as future
  prisoners, rapists, murderers, politicians and even a few
  desirable people, are going to schools right now in the general
  population. But I have strong opinions about education as it
  stands, so I'll resist a rant. tongue emoticon
