. can work with that. While I think social norms are often
entirely ridiculous, I believe in things like civility,
courtesy, a recognition of the fellow human in neighbor. I
suppose I'm a humanist when it comes down to it. For me, civil
interaction with people is enough; elephants entertaining each
other with various tricks and no need for a trainer or an
audience.
