To me, fighting over a word is a waste of energy that could be
better served by fighting what the CONCEPTS BEHIND the word
represents.
I don't use the word God much. Why? Baggage. Not _my_ baggage
but the baggage of my audience. Yet conceptually, I'm likely
closest to [1]

pantheism but the ridiculously similar looking word. But the
baggage tacked on to "special words" like God or religion gets
in the way of communication. *I* know what I mean. *I* can
define existing words to fit my outlook. But it's far easier to
just pick different words and convey the concept instead.
Not saying you need to. Just saying that works for me, and I
believe it works in general in improving conveyance of ideas.
