yeah I'm been so wrapped up in my project that I've been letting
specific tech advancements slide by me.* [I totally missed the
release of the various watches 'til my brother was already on
his 2nd Android watch.* I didn't even see him wearing it]. Then
again, to me it's just a wearable wrist display/interface,
although it's getting better. I wish Microsoft the best on the
project; although until I see a real success that lasts for
longer than the Nintendo VirtualBoy, I remain a little
skeptical. [I've been through SO MANY false starts in VR and
Augmented Reality through the years that I can't pin my hopes on
any particular one as being 'the success']. Genuine innovation
goes viral, across society, often without press releases, media
frenzies and such. Minecraft innovated sandbox gaming. FNAF
innovated a new type of horror and a vision of the future; that
of being trapped, immobile, without many choices for your fate.
Its precursors were the slow-walking jump-scare games but being
trapped at the controls and conquering that fear was something
kind of new and went viral for a reason... it captured something
in ppls consciousness. Anyway, I think too hard about stuff. I
feel for his family and friends, and I know I go into "train of
thought" quickly.. but it's the only way I can get ideas out of
  me... I have too many]
