But...
... I'd say that perhaps, you would be better listing the things
you prefer _less_, even if you cannot list the things you like
_more_.
Perhaps you are not an extremist. I don't think you're an
extremist.
Were I in your shoes, I would mentally translate:
"What is your favorite color?"
to
a) "Which of the colors to I like less than others?"
b) "Which colors are left over?"
c) "Out of the left over colors, which answer would give the
greatest desired outcome? Would your audience prefer a matching
color, to say "ME TOO!!! OMG!" [such as with a girl perhaps?] -
then use that color as your choice.
There's also a default choice; I have a few of those, especially
for situations that choosing is a dreadful experience.
My favorite color is Ultramarine Blue.
Took a lot of searching and there are some medical reasons and
physics reasons regarding photons and a twisted pleasure I get
knowing that our LCD screens -cannot- render Ultramarine Blue
properly... and I enjoy the whole nearby family of colors as
well, all with their names.
But Ultramarine Blue? It's the winner for me. Took 42 years to
be able to answer it conclusively but now I can. [and at every
opportunity in the past year, I have been proudly declaring my
favorite color when asked. This time, nobody asked me. But I
wait to be asked. smile emoticon ]
