As a PS: When I take the time to analogize something to a
simplified form, my intent is that of the highest form of
respect. A workable (but always far from perfect) analogy isn't
always an easy thing to find. It is for me, what logic seems to
be for you: a way to express truths (or at least concepts) that
might otherwise be invisible until expressed. I don't see an
etch a sketch as a child's toy; but it is a tangible realization
of The Matrix to me, as is an ant farm; both powerful analogies
that have some explanatory power. As I think and speak in
analogies, I mean no harm by them, quite the opposite.
