I'd say we're both in the American Pragmatist camp in that
regard; "Use what's working right now".
Being raised in the USA, it's hard _not_ to have that way of
thinking smile emoticon But I try to critical of
Pragmatism...Logical positivism, Popper... but boy it's hard NOT
to read Dewey, the progressivist movement. and not go "yes yes
yes yes"... until you see some of the bad things that came out
of it. But the bias in me remains. I'm an American Pragmatist.
But I like having the names behind some of my belief systems so
I can recognize it when I'm enacting someone else's dream from
long ago.
