Yeah - and it's an ongoing, common practice. I like using
history as a helpful tool for putting the present and future
into a context, as well as things like logic, science,
philosophy, reasoning, 'common sense' and whatever other tools
are available to me.
But yeah - history is written by the historians; and not all
historians wear Tweed jackets and hover over dusty books. Some
have hammers and chisels.
