I've tried both. Happiest with iPhone4 and iPhone 5s (current).
Had an older Android phone before that (with keyboard).
Honestly? I would've gotten used to Android models just as well.
They're comparable. With Apple products, you have to get used to
the "not worth customizing" concept and just use it for what it
does. You'll do fine. I had to fight my inner-hacker when I
first got the iPhone4 and just "trust Apple". It became fun to
*not* think about better batteries, better keyboard interfaces,
better UI... and I found I actually USE them instead of always
messing around with customizing. It took a mental shift though
but I'm glad for it.
