I find the Uncertainty Principle, personally, as the "Reality
Check" that smacked physics in the face. Prior to that, if you
draw enough lines on paper, you've got it.
The Uncertainty Principle lies in the space between theory
(lines on paper) and the Real World, which does not conform to
neat lines, pure mathematics and ideals. In a sense, their
religious moment.
