I've found that collecting self-success stories to be helpful
for illustration purposes, not because of bragging, because I
don't think it's spectacular, but because it's hard to argue
against someone else's story. What *could* be argued is the
premise and conclusion of course.
In retrospect, the moral-of-the-story may just be "Do your
homework and be through and detailed. But once you've done all
you can do, let it happen". That's probably a more accurate
aphorism.
