I like to think in terms of Scripts. Acting.
  I believe that, from babies, we begin to learn our behaviors via
  role playing. Repeated expectations, repeated experiences,
  observations of what's around us.

  We practice the adult world in roleplaying throughout childhood,
  along with practicing fantasy worlds.

  Then we become adults. And we keep acting. Except we forgot we
  were acting.
