* I had lessons from 5-16, told my mother, "Done with
lessons!" Julliard opportunity at 10 'cause others pressured
my mother. Special lessons for it it was exactly for the
thing that you're good at that I'm terrible at: I didn't
have the technical ability.
I'd either mess up the speed, or miss notes. I'd get the
'gist' of it and I could put feeling into it, but getting it
technically correct was stressful for me - very much so.
So I had the passion and the 'feel' but not the precision
without it causing me mental pain. [when I was
super-precise, the stress levels would make my face red and
I'd get tunnel vision. It was awful]

ears start a little ringing lol. Hated those lessons. Went
back to regular ones after that thankfully.
