I approached my religious experiences scientifically and
  experientially.
  I'm introspective by nature. The surrounding
  religions/philosophies/words in books didn't matter as much.
  They were tools for me.

  I learned a lot and incorporated them into my life. Once done, I
  didn't need the surrounding structures.
