I may not use the tools of astrology myself but I believe that
it's important for each person to find a system that they can
  navigate this life with.

Somebody tried to convince me that there is no need for religion
the other day. Now, I don't consider myself religious at this
point in my life. However, I use the definition of religion, "a
pursuit or interest to which someone ascribes supreme
  importance."

Those who doggedly pursue truth through the university system
and its ways, are, to me, in the religion of university
education. Those who utilize strict logic are of the schools of
the ancient Greeks, utilizing the "law of excluded middle" as
their guide. [with their absolutes of true/false]. Those who
cling to mathematics and the power of numbers are of the
  religion of Pythagoras.

So, I do not know the name of mine yet. Perhaps my religion is
skepticism. Yet, I am skeptical of my own skepticism, for I
believe in belief in systems for purposes of introspection and
finding meaning in life. I believe they can be harmful when
  applied excessively socially.

So perhaps I am, in the end an individualist. I was classified
by a "What political system is yours?" test once as "Social
Anarchist". I wrestled with that notion for a bit, but I suppose
it's likely correct enough. Or perhaps I am simply a Pragmatist:
  If it's working, use it.
