My hand always cramped in school when I wrote. I'm 43 in two
days time (eh, its an age) and at 11, I got my first computer. I
taught myself to type on it. I whizzed through my typing classes
on manual typewriters. Got myself to 110 wpm.
I've been typing ever since.
I also write a lot but my handwriting is terrible, very
Doctor-like. I also can't draw more than stick figures.
So for me, typing works better. But I'd be ok with a manual
typewriter, if I didn't have to pay for postage. I actually have
a collection of typewriters, old battery powered word
processors, that was an obsession for a short time.
Plus, I've been online since 1988 So for me, yeah it's been my
pen and paper substitute.
