      there. The main difference I see is that the diamonds ought
      to be given their own cutting tools and create their own
      facets from within.

      [since.. .we're humans and not diamonds... and I've seen
      some aggressive cutting methods in education that makes my
      skin crawl]

      and should they choose to remain "full of potential" but
      they've put their cutting tools down and prefer to be all
      natural diamonds, then that opportunity should be afforded
      them as well.
