They're models and as such, models, while being a reflection of
reality, might not be the entirety of reality, even if they
model the entirety of reality. Then again, they might.
Some mazes have a single path from start to finish with lots of
dead ends inbetween.
Some mazes have multiple paths to the same end.
Some have multiple ends that lead to the same outdoor-space.
[and some leave you in the maze and perfectly fine being
situated in there]
For the maze is a part of outdoor space, just without a clear
view. (those walls blocking the photons and stuff)
