The Single Answer Fallacy In the middle of a very large,
complicated machine, is the hope, dream and goal of a majority
of human systems:* *A Single Answer* Historically, the basis of
judicial systems, mathematics, logic, philosophy, religions,
sciences, education, social norms, the realm of gossip, the
archetype of the Hero and Villain, is the Fallacy of the Single
Answer. To the Single Answer, all manner of that which is Pure
and Right and Good and True has been ascribed to it.* Even
"Nothing" has gained that level. Nothing is Forever. Nothing is
Good. Nothing is Pure Oblivion has a nearly Sacred Quality for
some, and in Theoretical Physics, it was once believed that, in
the Center of All, was Nothing. The Glorious Zero, the Point of
Balance in Accounting and the Assumption of many Universal
Systems, is this "Ideal that we may never reach, but it is
always taunting us, striving us to push forward towards." But
however the Single Answer is heralded, it is often, quite
simply, a Fallacy. There may be no answer at all.* There may be
multiple answers. That is not to say that there are NO Single
Answers.* I don't know that.* I believe that there are many
cases where there is a Single Answer.* But often, it is but a
very popular Fallacy, held by many.   Why?* The Machine required
to surround that Single Answer.* Take away the Machine: Is it
still "the" Single Answer? -Kenneth Udut 1/8/2015
