^Just came across some notes from 2001. I typed them in on THIS
  - Handspring Visor complete with Thumbboard. (yeah, I still have
  it. Took AA batteries - AND touchscreen. Woohoo. Watch out
  iphone... sigh... yeah pocket tech is *much* improved.... I had
  a modem (Moe-Dem) and ethernet adaptor that I had to use ...
  WIRES.. to connect to the Internet... well, download/upload
  email.... Remember wires? Oh yeah, charging cables. it was like
  a back and white ipod touch. and YES, I bought the MP3 player
  attachment *and* had a subscription to Audible.com.^
