^No surprise, my buddy Zinc was on top of the list. Zinc coating
  on screws keeps them from rusting, and zinc in diaper rash cream
  heals the bum, and little tiny pieces of zinc protect stuff in
  the body as well, and encourages white blood cells to come by
  and do some healing. Just a days dose is enough - too much and
  you get tingling in your toes (which fixes itself when you
  return the dosage to normal - no permanent damage) . Other stuff
  is on the list too, That blue color in
  wine/grape-juice/blueberries (yes, even blueberry jam) - is
  protective... and a few others.^
