Speaking of wires, Quantum Entanglement has NOTHING on tangled
wires. You know, the earbuds that get knotted in your pocket.
Christmas lights. USB cables.
The reason why is simple yet it surprises us on a daily basis:
It's because THINGS HAPPEN when you're NOT looking!
Of course, our imagination fills in the gaps of knowledge.
Sometimes its right, but usually our imagination is wrong,
because humans like to assume the worst and then believe it and
THEN tell everybody.
But people are far more predictable than wires. Quantum
Entanglement? Biology? Protein folding? How about figuring out
how to keep wires from tangling? Eh, it's just easier to invent
brand new wireless technologies all of the time so we don't have
to deal with the whole tangled wire issue :P
