Nicholas Alexander BuckendorfI also have some ideas on the
fluidity of the brain chemicals in our brain soup related to our
complicated emotional states, cell permeability and the ability
to retain certain types of memories. I consider LTP as
"vulcanization" of axions - best analogy I could find to memory
is the behavior of Rubber. Brain plasticity I see on a spectrum
of living rubber in the tre...e all the way over to vulcanized
rubber - rubber burnt in a particular fashion as to make it VERY
easy to return to its formed shape (see rubber tires) but
impossible to recycle as rubber. I see the brain less as
electrons/photons now and more as squishy chemical soup where
the brain is washed back and forth like car parts in ... "
