I was wondering tonight if there is a connection between
sinusitus and decision-making, due to the location of the
Orbitofrontal cortex / Ventromedial prefrontal cortex just above
your eyes, and just above your nasal cavity. Well, one of the
symptoms of trouble with the ''vfPFC'' is related to not fully
'getting' many gender-specific social cues. ''Men do this, women
  do that.''.

So, I thought, hm, didn't Sweden come up with a Gender neutral
word, hen? And yes, they did. Then I wondered - I wondered if
there were chronic sinus infections in Sweden, and found this:
  http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/oa.1268/abstract
where a medival society in Sweden, 97% of them 1000 years ago
  had chronic sinusitus.

So, then I came across this: and I thought to myself, ''Well,
the land of IKEA where you don't really have to decide on
furniture because it all looks pretty good... and the world
tends to view Sweden as englightened in many ways - having very
  strong equality...

and seeing this, I thought, ''You know, we may laugh but if you
ever have seen very small children play, this is EXACTLY what
they do. It is we, the uncles, aunts, grandparents, parents,
teachers, neighbors, TV, and culture that constantly tries to
reinforce these ''vast chasms'' of difference between guys and
  girls.

  But really, it's all made-up stuff. Logically, there's: a)
plumbing differences and b) hormonal differences which have a
bunch of side-effects that differentiate between men and women.
  And that's it.

My hypothesis is off-the-cuff and the results of 1/2 hr of
''research'' but I've always had trouble remembering if a dog or
cat was a boy or girl, thinking, ''it's neutered/'fixed'/spayed
  - it's neither a boy or a girl.''

But perhaps I just have a chronic stuffy nose. -Kenneth Udut
