will have a lot of work ahead of them. You and I are a part of
it - being some of the early adopters of connective technology
(the BBS's) - but as they grow up and some become educators and
politicians, they will have the task of reformulating the
education system. Because they were raised online, their
expectations of "how the world ...should be" will be different
than the stuff we went through and they currently go through.
There is already more homeschooling, and the rolls of Alternate
Schools are swelling as the newer generation rebel at the slow
pace of learning that the current school system provides and
cause mischief out of sheer boredom and frustrati... "
